Tim Paek

Tim Paek is a Distinguished Engineer and Scientist in AI/ML at Apple where he leads the Adaptive Devices and Platforms Team (ADPT), an incubation team that ideates, prototypes, and ships AI-powered features, platforms, and new hardware with product teams. Prior to joining Apple, he also led an ML incubation team at Microsoft Research. During his 23 years of industry R&D, he published over 50 peer-reviewed papers, co-invented over 110 awarded patents, and shipped numerous ML features in products such as Vision Pro, AirPods, Watch, iPhone, Windows Phone, Microsoft Band, Bing, and Windows.
